CONFIRMATION CLASS

Please pick up a Confirmation Sign-Up sheet located on the table in the back of the sanctuary or on the table by the church office. Stephanie Glasure NEEDS these forms completed and returned to her by AUGUST 13^th.

 The Confirmation Class will be held on WEDNESDAYS, beginning AUGUST 30th from 7—8:00 pm. CONFIRMATION will take place on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10th, 2006.  Pastor Clint will need to meet with the PARENTS prior to CLASSES. Please be in prayer about your child’s participation.

FAITHBUILDER’S FALL SCHEDULE Begins August 30^th – November 15^th

Disciple’s Prayer Life: Walking in Fellowship with God, by TW Hunt. Led by Kimberly Arbaugh.

This is a twelve-week, in depth study course that guides Christians to develop an intimate and effective prayer life. After completing the study of Disciple’s Prayer Life, you will understand and be able to apply biblical principles that develop intimacy with God and effectiveness in prayer. You will demonstrate your commitment to God’s leadership about your involvement in a personal or church prayer ministry.

·    You will interact with this self-paced workbook for 30-60 minutes each day.

·    You will meet once each week for a group session to process and practice what you have learned during the week.
 

Twelve Extraordinary Women, by John MacArthur. Led by Natalie Doty.

Celebrated for their courage, vision, hospitality, and spiritual giftedness, it’s no wonder women were so important to God’s plan revealed in the Old and New Testaments. It wasn’t their natural qualities that made these women extraordinary but the power of the One True God whom they worshipped and served. You’ll learn more than fascinating information about these women, you’ll discover — perhaps for the first time — the unmistakable chronology of God’s redemptive work in history through their lives. These women were not ancillary to His plan, they were at the very heart of it.

·    This Bible Study is for all - - male and female.

·    This is a “light” study with little or no homework.

COLLEGE NIGHTS ARE BACK!!!

Our WEDNESDAY evening “college” nights are back once again at the Moores’ Ministry House. These opportunities for hanging out, "jamming” a little, some Bible study, and just being together in a positive atmosphere are for those who have completed at least some college or are age 19 or older. The Lighthouse Cafe “college” nights begin around 7:00 pm and usually last until about midnight. You can come when you want for as long as you want. Please see Josh or Hope Bullard with any questions
