Presenting
A Bible |
|
| For its
being a Mason all the while that guides our Craft a-right. |
| We work our
hard Rough Ashlars, And Square and polish each face; |
| Then we find
the spot, and mix the Cement, And put each Stone in its place. |
| We build our
House as we live our lives, Its form and size un-guessed, |
| But God knows
its plan and its object, And by His hand it is blessed. |
| Your plan is
here in your Bible, Our fairest, most precious Book, |
| But the plan
is lost, and its Beauty, Unless YOU are willing to look. |
