Nutmeg is a level and
wide doe, scoring V for legs, back and rump as dry doe. She has a lot of width
and power. My favorite style of doe. We having a linear appraisal in
2003. She has plenty of width through out. She has a high wide
rear udder with a large overall area of attachment . She comes from a long line
of Permanent Champions & Breed leaders.
Nutmeg when shown, places at the top of her class going in 2000 1 BJDIS, 1x GCH, 3x RGCH as a dry yearling.
At the 2001 North American Int. Livestock Exp Nutmeg placed RGCH over all, along with Reserve best udder for the Lamancha breed.
For the 2002 show season to date she has 1X BDIS, 1X BOB, 3X GCH and 3X 1st. along with Res. udder four year old at the Ohio State Fair and to finish off the show season, she was 1st place four year old doe, 1st place mammary for her class and Best udder of breed at the North American International Livestock Exposition on November 10th, 2002.
In 2003, she either placed at the top of her challenge class behind the BOB doe or was BOB. She is one of those does that either a judge likes or dislikes. But she is our pick over most of our does. She does it all, milks and shows.
She will be bred AI to Parallel for 2006 kids
