Introducing our newest venture, Quarter horses!!

We have always wanted a couple horses, but with raising three children,

and their livestock interests in livestock for 4-H, which included rabbits,

chickens, feeder calves, hogs, and sheep, we just did not have

the time or space to accommodate owning a horse.

Now that the kids are all grown and moved out with families of

their own and us now only owning goats and a calves for the

freezer each year we can have them.

We got our first horse in a barter deal, we traded a car for Fox, our gelding.

He is a bay.  We will be breaking him to ride this summer.

Then of course we needed a second one to ride so we

purchased a flea bitten gray mare affectionately know as Kitten.

Who recently foaled with a red dun filly.
