Finale's is the first Three Springs bred doe to earn her permanent championship. She is a combination of my favorite old alpine does,
Pinkie May, and one of my favorite Lamancha bucks, Excaliber. She is also the only doe we ever got out of Pinkie that we liked. Pinkie had a very nicely attached mammary, and she was level and wide through out.
Finale has a very nice mammary, with near ideal fore-udder. medial and teat placement. She scored 3 points above ideal for udder depth. She also scored within ideal ranges for her rear legs. Finale has great width and depth, is very level and has a smoothly blended front end.Her daughter Fascination(sold) (out of Little Shepherd King Solomon) freshened with a lovely mammary.
Finale had a fantastic 2000 show season, going BOB 9X, and BDIS 2X.Finale was shown 5 times in 2001, going BOB 4 times.
Shown in 2002 she has gone BOB 2x's and BDIS 1x
Pictured above right is finale enjoying herself at the Ohio State Fair. They do not have classes for Recorded grades there so she gets to get out and get a little extra attention.
Her daughters out of Josephs Coat have done very well in the show ring. She crossed very well with him as all my Excaliber daughters seem to. She was bred to Bart.
In early March we had to have Finale euthenized after a four month battle with meningeal worm. She recovered enough to carry her kids to full term and blessed us with a doe and a buck. After about a week she started to relapse and no amount of love and medication would bring her back around. She is sadly missed here at Three Springs.
