Daphne is long, level, angular and very dairy. She freshened with a very nice mammary, being very globular and plumb teats along with a nice overall area of attachment. I would like to see her milk more, but for her size the mammary fits her well.
Daphne had a very
respectable show season as a dry yearling. She placed : 1x RGCH, 4x's 1st, 1x 2nd.
She has been shown at one show so far this year, placing second in both rings. She has not milked all that well but considering she was one of the bad cases we had of Meningeal worm, and pregnant during that time I did not expect a lot out of her. She has grown and filled out tremendously and expect as a two year old she will very competitive in the show ring.
She freshened this year with a phenomenal mammary, milking around 9lb a day which is twice what she peaked at as a yearling.
She has been bred to Parallel and gave us twin does. One of which will offered in the 2005 BADGA show this may.
