<----- Back to Deep Dish
Wish I May
From Album: To the Teeth
Notes:
If you're listening to the CD to figure out the rythm,
I'd skip over the very first part... Jason messes up (it's not really
noticeable, but he comes in on the G early- it's supposed to be on the "and"
of the 4th beat of the measure- which messes up the rest of the pattern).
verse:
g |-----------------------------------------------------------|
d |----------------------------5-5-5-5------7-7-7-7-----------|
a |---------------9--7--------------5--------------7----------|
e |-7---9/10--------------------------------------------------|
(instead of sliding from the 9th to 10th fret on the e string, you can also
bend the string to raise it the 1/2 step. either way.)
chorus:
g |-----------------------------------------------------------|
d |------------------------------------5---------------7------|
a |--------------9-7--------------5---------------7-----------|
e |-7---9/10--------------2/3-------------3/5-----------------|
the first time through the pattern on the first chorus, the 3rd and 5th frets
are played on the downbeat with no slide into them.
end part (w/ choir):
g |-----------------------------------------------------------|
d |--------------------------4--------------------------------|
a |-2-------4-------2-----------------------------------------|
e |-----2-------5-------2-------5-----------------------------|
etc.
