Back Back Back

From Album: To The Teeth

Notes: Jason does a lot of improv on this one, making it a Real bugger to tab.
The line below is just what he's basically playing. Listen to the song to get
exact timing. This was my first transcription, so bear with me. I never quite
realized how hard this is.

Tuning: Standard

For the first verse and chorus, it's just Ani on the six-string

Then Jason and Darren cut in

g |---7--9/10\9-7-------|
d |---------------7-5---|
a |-------------------8-|
e |---------------------|
                   Now these..

g |---------------------------------------------5--5----------------|
d |-----------------------------------------------------------------|
a |------------5----------------------------------------------------|
e |-----------------------------------------------------------------|
old, old, old people in these nursing homes just scowling away at nothing

g |-----------2-----------2-------------------------------------5--5|
d |------3------5-3-----------5-------------------------------------|
a |-3--5------------5-3------------5--------------------------------|
e |-----------------------------------------------------------------|
like big rag dolls just cursing at the walls and

g |-----------------------------9b^1/2------------------------------|
d |-----------------------------------------------------------------|
a |-----------------------------------------------------------------|
e |-----------------------------------------------------------------|
pullin' out all of their stuffing

Then the line just basically repeats until the end of the verse
Then the chorus, which is just Ani doing some "oh-ing." Definitely
Listen to the song at this part.

Chorus:
g |----------------------------------------|
d |-----------7--5--7-3-------7-5--7-2----.|
a |----------------------0-0/-------------.|
e |--3---3/--------------------------------|

The next verses and the chorus are pretty much the same, except Jason's improv,
so that just leaves us with the bridge.

Bridge Line:

g |---------------------------------------6-----------4--|
d |-----3-----------5------------------------------------|
a |---------3---------------5---------4-------2----------|
e |------------------------------------------------------|x5
Your arrogance is gaining on you and so is eternity…

They then return to the bridge during the sax solo and to the first verse.
One more chorus.

The song cuts off abruptly and heads into Swing, the next track.

That's it. Have fun and if you need any specific riffs of this that
You can't figure out on your own, drop me an e-mail and I'll send them
In a day or two.
