In Memory Of My Dear Friend

Jack Dobbins

May 5, 1952 - July 5, 2001

I sit here looking at his pictures and thinking how much he taught me. He taught me a lot about the computer, and he taught me so much more.

He taught me there are people out there that don't care what you look like on the outside.  He would tell me, its what is inside that counts.

The most important thing he taught me, was how to love someone again and how to trust again.  He taught me how to smile again.

Jack came into my life 4 years ago, after my Dad passed away. It was like he was sent here to cheer us all up and he sure did a good job.  Now that I think about it, I think he was sent here for a reason.  We helped each other out. We were the family he didn't know and he was like my brother.  An my Mother thought of him as one of her children.

I often told him, I wish you could of met my father, but I'm sure they have met by now.  They are up there saying, Stop your crying, we are fine!

He had so much love inside him. He had a heart of gold!  Now he was a joker and a big tease, but that was Jack.   He reminded me of those little cartoons of the little angel and the little devil that sat on your shoulders.  He was so sweet one minute then the next minute he was being a bad boy. That is why you had to love him.

I wait for his call and that never comes. I wait for the knock on icq that never knocks, or the aw oh of him sending me a message saying, hello lady, what are you up to tonight.  I don't know what I'm going to do with out him in my life.

He touched so many lives.   He is going to be missed by people from all over the world.

If you can see this page Jack. Always know how much you meant to all of us.  We all love you and miss you deeply !
