More About Ray
|
Ray Amoroso is the senior board member for the Smithfield Township Trustees, first being elected in November
1983. The trustee also serves as a State Director of the Ohio Township Association being appointed by the membership in 1988. Presently he is the
chairman of the OTA Legislative Committee. Ray represented townships on the State and Local Government Commission of Ohio being first appointed by
former Governor George Voinovich. Locally, and served three terms as President for the Jefferson County Township Association. Ray received the Jefferson County Township Official of the Year Award in 1990 and 1998. The 1999 American Hometown Leadership Award at Washington, D.C. The Jefferson County Outstanding Leadership Award in 2000 and National Honors with receiving the 2003 Grassroots Government Leadership Award also at Washington, D.C.
. He currently serves as Chairman
of the Jefferson County Regional Planning Commission, Chairman of the Jefferson-Belmont Solid Waste Authority, and Chairman of the Jefferson County Health
Advisory Board and is a member of the Dillonvale-Mt. Pleasant Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Pine Valley Sportsmen's Club, Jefferson County Farm Bureau,
Fraternal Order of Police. Ray Amoroso is a Bailiff for the Jefferson County Court 3rd District and is employed with Ameribank as an Assistant Vice President. He is married to Phyllis (Waligura) and they have three sons, Ray Jr., Ryan
and Randy.

Bill has been a trustee for twelve years.
He serves on the Jefferson County Veterans Service Commission board. He is a Vietnam War Veteran & past commander for 23 years of the American Legion Post 529
in Dillonvale. He is a member of the Yorkville Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Bill belongs to the Dillonvale-Mt Pleasant Lions Club, Jefferson County Farm Bureau & the Jefferson County Cattlemen's Association.
He is married to the Marianne (Kujawa) of Dillonvale, has three children Karianne, Danny, and Bill, and has five grandchildren.

Ron Malin has served as Smithfield Township Trustee for 20 years. He was chosen "Trustee of the Year" for his many accomplishments & hard work in the township.
He served on the Adena Village Council for 5 ½ years prior to becoming a Trustee.
Ron is married to Nancy (Kokiko) for 42 years & they have one son Brian, daughter-in-law Sharon and four grandchildren, Merrik, Madigan, Macy and Megan. He is a retired electrician from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel.
Ron is active in the St. Casimir Church, he also belongs to the Adena Lions Club with 28 years of perfect attendance. He is a member of the Pine Valley
Sportsmens Club & the Shortcreek Sportsmens Club. You will find him proudly present at all of the sports and school functions of his grandchildren.
